A social butterfly or a school scholar? This was really an interesting question for a mother like me. At her young age i can't be sure what she will turn out to be but for a mother who wanted the best for her daughter, i will try my best to teach her and to give as much help or information as she wanted. Socialization was a part of every childs life, there will come a time that she will have her own set of friends and groups and i could not stop her to eventually emerged from her cocoon and become a social butterfly.
I would not even pressure her to be a deans lister but although that is what every parents expected from their children but i will guide her to the best of my ability for her to do well in school. As i have read from a baby magazine, all children are born with varying degrees of spatial, musical, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, logical-mathematical and linguistic intelligence, it is up to us parents on how we can enhance our babys talents and other kinds of intelligence that our babies already had.
I believe that all children are born with a drive, the need to grow into a responsible, effective adults who fit into and contribute to their families, communities and eventually to the world. Time will come that she will go to school and meet friends, i would be there for her to guide her to choose the activities and ideas that will promote her lifelong learning and growth and to enhance every aspect of her intelligence.
