Scenic Sunday # 2 "Bat Island"

It's Sunday again, before we end this beautiful week, i would like to share to you this beautiful picture of an island. It was called "Bat Island", have you heard of it? This island can be found at Honda Bay in the city of Puerto Princesa, Palawan. It was called "Bat Island" because of the large fruit bats coming out of their homes right before sundown to take their evening feeds.

That is so interesting! I've been to Palawan several times but never to Puerto Princesa yet. One of these days.

ReplyDeleteHi Mel, didn't know na may Bat island pala dyan sa Palawan, diba ang laway nang mga paniki is mahal? Chinese used it to mix in cooking soup. Happy weekdays!

The island is very lush looking. I'm sure there are tons of inset meals there for bats to enjoy.
