Ondoy Wedding Story

Saturday, January 23, 2010

I am always fascinated when two hearts bind their love in matrimony. I always love reading  real weddings, of how the bride and groom find each other. It's a beautiful sight when the bride emerges in the crowd of well-wishers showing her sweet smile, walking down the aisle, coming nearer to the man of her dreams who is patiently standing at the end of the line.

While i was searching the net for related blogs of fellow Bicolanos, i stumbled upon the site of Planet Naga and found this very  interesting site of brothers Ryan and Randall Dagooc. ( there recent work is the wedding of Ciara Sotto)  There beautiful blog MangoRed, showcase of what they do best, wedding photography.  Along with their dedicated and brilliant photographers, illustrators, and lay-out artists they will give you great photographs to store in your heart and  will surely give a long lasting memory of your wedding.

One of my favorite is the story of "Deluge of Love- My Ondoy Wedding Story " as published  in the 2009-2010 Beautiful Wedding Issue of Wedding Essentials. It is a personal account of Randall on how they survive the wrath of Ondoy to create a very inspiring and remarkable wedding of Eli and Ky as the couple push through their wedding despite the heavy storm.

The story  of Eli and Ky is so inspiring at naiyak talaga ako, not because i am sad but because of the love of the couple greatly inspires me.  Just like Randall said ,it is not the visitor or the grand wedding you will have that can give you true happiness. It is the love you both shared and the courage to face whatever hindrance you will encounter along your journey together.
