World Food Program or WFP is organizing its' annual global event to raise awareness and eventually funds to end child's hunger and malnutrition. On June 6, 2010, if your country is having this event, i highly recommended that you joined this global awareness. If you are unable to walk with them, you can also help them by joining their Virtual Walk.

Maybe you’re the lucky winner of a Flip Cam
1. TAKE A PHOTO (high resolution) that symbolises your personal Walk the World experience- What is Walk the World about?
- What makes it special to you?
- What is your message about hunger?
2. SEND ONE PHOTO (high resolution, max. 5 MB) together with the following information to:
wfp.walk_the_world@wfp.org before midnight MONDAY, JUNE 14TH (GMT):
- name & age of photographer
- location & date (of photo)
- Caption: short description of what is happening on the photo (example): 1. Drew Barrymore joining the 3000 walkers in New York, 2. Concert in Jakarta, 3. 400 TNT-employees walking in Cologne

The winners will be selected by an independent jury and will be announced on this website on June 22nd!
Here in the Philippines, WAlk the World , isang Hakbang Pilipinas will be happening at Sunday, 6 June 2010, from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. As much as I wanted to come and participate to this event but the distance could not permits me. Well, there are things that I can still do and one way is to let my readers know about this event. It is time for us to act to save our children and it would begin with us.
