Headache and Ginger

Saturday, February 04, 2012

I haven't done much today except from going to the market to buy some foods.  I have a terrible headache since yesterday and I just stayed in bed the whole day. I wish there is a custom mattress that can heal your sickness once you sleep on them. But i guess that was just my wild imagination.

So, perhaps this ginger tea that I have made will help me.  Ginger root has an invigorating taste and a good home remedy when you have flu, colds and sore throats.  The dried ginger root is also a thermogenic expectorant, as well as laxative and appetizer. Ginger was very known to cure diarrhea, inflammations of the joints, flatulence, motion sickness , colic, asthma, colic, headaches and even anorexia.  Ginger oil has been widely used for aromatherapy.

Research even show that ginger is good source of absorption of cholesterol in your blood and liver. Ginger roots is not just a good addition in our food but has a medicinal effect that can help heal many sicknesses for a healthy living.

Ginger recipe:

  • 4 cups of water
  • 2-inch fresh ginger piece
  • lemon slice and honey (optional) or brown sugar if you don't have honey.
